What You Need

• An iPhone or iPad with WebGL2 and half-float render targets. Almost every device that runs a supported iOS qualifies. The Diagnostics tab in the app runs a self-test on launch and tells you exactly what your device supports.
• The Max quality level assumes an iPhone 15 or newer. Older devices should use Realtime through High.
• An internet connection is needed only for PocketAERO Pro features (scanning a car from photos, purchases). Analysing the built-in cars works fully offline.

Common Questions

• Analysis takes a long time — That is expected. The solver runs a full 3D Navier–Stokes simulation and needs one to two minutes at the higher quality levels. A progress bar is shown under the readouts. Lower the quality for a quicker look.
• The device gets warm or the view stutters — Set quality to Realtime (45,000 cells), or switch the background to Measurement view, which removes the wind tunnel environment. The environment is visual only and does not change any result.
• Cd is different from the published figure for this car — The app is calibrated against the DrivAer notchback reference and results depend on mesh resolution. Treat the numbers as comparative: run different shapes or conditions at the same quality level and compare them against each other, rather than reading one value as absolute.
• Lift or downforce looks wrong — Lift (Cl) is not calibrated and is shown for reference only. Drag (Cd, CdA) is the calibrated quantity.
• Changing speed or yaw does nothing — Changing conditions does not re-run the solver automatically. Press Analyse again to compute with the new settings.
• My STL will not load — STL import is part of PocketAERO Pro. Units (mm, cm, m), up direction and front direction are detected automatically and the tyres are placed on the ground. Very large files are voxelised on the device and can take a while; simplify the mesh first if it is over a few hundred thousand triangles.
• The scan from photos failed or looks odd — Take the photos in even light, at a consistent distance, with the whole car in frame (the capture screen overlays a silhouette guide for each view). Use a plain background, keep one car per shot, and make the views clearly different — near-duplicate angles add little. More photos is not always better: a few consistent views beat four mismatched ones. A credit is only used when the generation is accepted; if it fails to start, the credit is refunded automatically.
• I subscribed but the scan says no credits — Open the paywall screen and tap Restore purchases. Credits are held on the purchase-validation service, not on the phone, so a restore also refreshes the balance.
• How do I cancel the subscription? — Subscriptions are managed by Apple. Open the Settings app → your name → Subscriptions, or in the App Store tap your profile picture → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; the current period stays active until it ends.
• Where is the saved report? — Save report produces a ZIP through the standard share sheet. Choose Save to Files or any other destination. It contains the numeric report, the conditions and results as JSON, the analysed geometry as STL, and the rendered views.

Privacy

The built-in cars are analysed entirely on your device. Photos you choose to scan are sent to a third-party 3D generation service. See the Privacy Policy for details.

必要なもの

• WebGL2とhalf-floatレンダーターゲットに対応したiPhone / iPad。サポート対象のiOSが動く端末であればほぼ該当します。アプリ内の「診断」タブが起動時に自己テストを行い、お使いの端末の対応状況を表示します。
• 品質「最高」はiPhone 15以降を想定しています。それより前の端末では「リアルタイム」〜「高」をお使いください。
• インターネット接続が必要なのはPocketAERO Proの機能（写真からのスキャン、購入）だけです。内蔵車種の解析は完全にオフラインで動作します。

よくある質問

• 解析に時間がかかる — 仕様です。3次元ナビエ–ストークス方程式を丸ごと解いているため、高い品質設定では1〜2分かかります。進捗バーは計測値の下に表示されます。手早く見たいときは品質を下げてください。
• 端末が熱くなる・表示がカクつく — 品質を「リアルタイム」（45,000セル）にするか、背景を「計測ビュー」に切り替えて風洞の環境表示を外してください。環境表示は見た目だけのもので、結果には一切影響しません。
• Cdがこの車の公称値と違う — 本アプリはDrivAerノッチバックの標準モデルで較正しており、結果は格子解像度に依存します。数値は比較用としてお使いください。同じ品質設定で形状や条件を変えて互いに比べるのが正しい使い方で、単独の値を絶対値として読むものではありません。
• 揚力・ダウンフォースがおかしい — 揚力（Cl）は較正しておらず参考値です。較正済みなのは抗力（Cd・CdA）です。
• 車速やヨー角を変えても何も起きない — 条件を変えても自動では再解析しません。「解析」をもう一度押すと新しい条件で計算します。
• STLが読み込めない — STL読み込みはPocketAERO Proの機能です。単位（mm / cm / m）・上下・前後は自動判定し、タイヤを接地させます。非常に大きなファイルは端末上でボクセル化するため時間がかかります。数十万面を超える場合は先にメッシュを簡略化してください。
• 写真からのスキャンが失敗する・形が変 — 明るさの均一な場所で、同じくらいの距離から、車全体をフレームに収めて撮影してください（撮影画面に方向ごとのシルエットガイドが出ます）。背景は無地に、写すのは1台だけに、そして向きははっきり変えてください（似た角度は増やしても効果が薄いです）。枚数は多いほど良いわけではなく、条件のそろった数枚のほうが、寄せ集めの4枚より良い結果になります。クレジットは生成が受け付けられたときだけ消費されます。開始に失敗した場合は自動で払い戻されます。
• 加入したのにクレジットが無いと言われる — 購入画面で「購入を復元」を押してください。クレジット残高は端末ではなく購入検証サービス側に保持されているため、復元で残高も更新されます。
• サブスクリプションの解約方法は？ — サブスクリプションはAppleが管理しています。「設定」アプリ → 自分の名前 → 「サブスクリプション」、またはApp Storeでプロフィール画像 → 「サブスクリプション」から解約できます。解約すると次回以降の更新が止まり、現在の期間は終了まで有効です。
• 保存したレポートはどこ？ — 「レポート結果を保存」は標準の共有シート経由でZIPを出力します。「ファイルに保存」など任意の保存先を選んでください。数値レポート、条件と結果のJSON、解析済み形状のSTL、各種ビューのキャプチャが入っています。

プライバシー

内蔵車種の解析はすべて端末内で完結します。スキャンのために選択した写真は、第三者の3D生成サービスへ送信されます。詳細はプライバシーポリシーをご覧ください。
