Privacy Policy

SYNSETECH LTD ("we", "us") operates the PocketAERO mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what data the App processes, what leaves your device, and why.

The Short Version

• Analysing the six built-in cars, and any STL file you import, happens entirely on your device. Nothing about the geometry, the settings or the results is sent anywhere.
• We hold no account, name, email address or contact details for you. There is no sign-up.
• Two things leave your device, and only when you choose to use them: the store receipt for purchases, and the photos you select for a scan.
• No advertising, no analytics, no crash reporting, no tracking.

Data Processed On Your Device

In-App Purchases

The App offers an optional subscription ("PocketAERO Pro") and optional packs of scan credits. Payment is handled entirely by the App Store; we never see or receive your payment details.

To confirm that a purchase belongs to you and to keep track of your scan-credit balance, the App uses RevenueCat, Inc. as its purchase-validation service. RevenueCat receives the store receipt together with a randomly generated, anonymous identifier created on your device. No account, name or email address is created or sent. The identifier is not linked to you and is discarded if you delete the App. Reinstalling creates a new identifier; your subscription and credits are recovered through the store with "Restore purchases".

Scanning a Car From Photos

PocketAERO Pro can build a 3D model of a real car from one to four photographs. When you start a scan, the photos you selected are sent from your device to a small relay service operated by us, which forwards them to Meshy AI (Meshy Inc.), a third-party 3D-generation service, and returns the finished model to the App.

• Only the photos you explicitly select for the scan are sent, and only at the moment you start the scan. The App never uploads your photo library or any other image.
• Our relay service does not store the photos. It deducts one scan credit, forwards the request, and passes the result back. If the generation is not accepted, the credit is refunded automatically.
• Meshy AI processes the photos to generate the model and holds them and the resulting model under its own privacy policy and retention terms, available at meshy.ai/privacy. We recommend reading it before scanning.
• The photos are sent together with your anonymous purchase identifier so that the credit can be deducted. Nothing else identifying you accompanies them.
• Do not scan photos that show people, licence plates or anything else you would not want processed by a third party. Photograph the car alone.

Data We Do Not Collect

• No location or GPS data
• No account creation, no personal contact details
• No advertising identifiers, no ads, and no ad tracking
• No analytics, crash reporting, or usage telemetry
• No name, email address, or other personal contact information — including for purchases

Sharing to Social Networks

"Share" captures the current 3D view as an image and opens the standard iOS share sheet. What you share, and with whom, is entirely your choice; the App itself does not post anything and does not connect to any social network.

Third-Party Services

The App contacts exactly two third-party services, each only for the purpose described above: RevenueCat for purchase validation and credit balances, and Meshy AI (via our relay) for photo-to-3D generation. It uses no analytics, advertising or tracking services.

Data Retention

We retain no data ourselves, because we receive none beyond the transient relay of scan requests. The anonymous purchase record is retained by RevenueCat for as long as your purchase is valid. Photos and generated models submitted for scanning are retained by Meshy AI according to its own policy. Settings and any imported files remain on your device until you remove them or delete the App.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Accuracy of Results

The App is an engineering simulation for comparison and learning. It is not a certified measurement instrument and does not replace a physical wind tunnel or validated commercial CFD software.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.

株式会社SYNSETECH（以下「当社」）は、モバイルアプリケーション「PocketAERO」（以下「本アプリ」）を提供しています。本プライバシーポリシーは、本アプリが取り扱うデータの内容、端末外へ送信されるもの、およびその理由を説明するものです。

要点

• 内蔵6車種の解析、および読み込んだSTLファイルの解析は、すべて端末内で完結します。形状・設定・結果が外部へ送信されることはありません。
• 当社はお客様のアカウント・氏名・メールアドレス・連絡先情報を保持しません。会員登録はありません。
• 端末外へ送信されるのは、お客様が使用を選択したときに限り、次の2つだけです。購入時のストアレシートと、スキャンのためにお客様が選択した写真。
• 広告、アナリティクス、クラッシュレポート、トラッキングは一切ありません。

端末内で処理する情報

アプリ内課金について

本アプリには任意加入のサブスクリプション（「PocketAERO Pro」）と、任意購入のスキャンクレジットパックがあります。決済はApp Storeが行い、当社がお客様の支払い情報を受け取ることはありません。

購入がお客様のものであることの確認と、スキャンクレジットの残高管理のために、購入検証サービスとしてRevenueCat, Inc.を利用しています。RevenueCatへは、ストアが発行したレシートと、端末上で無作為に生成された匿名の識別子のみが送信されます。アカウントの作成はなく、氏名やメールアドレスを送信することもありません。この識別子はお客様個人と結び付いておらず、本アプリを削除すると失われます。再インストールすると新しい識別子が作られますが、サブスクリプションとクレジットは「購入を復元」からストア経由で引き継げます。

写真からのスキャンについて

PocketAERO Proでは、実車の写真1〜4枚から3Dモデルを作成できます。スキャンを開始すると、お客様が選択した写真が端末から当社が運用する小さな中継サービスへ送信され、そこから第三者の3D生成サービスであるMeshy AI（Meshy Inc.）へ転送され、完成したモデルがアプリへ返されます。

• 送信されるのは、スキャン用にお客様が明示的に選択した写真だけで、送信されるのはスキャンを開始した瞬間だけです。写真ライブラリやその他の画像をアプリがアップロードすることはありません。
• 当社の中継サービスは写真を保存しません。スキャンクレジットを1つ減算し、リクエストを転送し、結果を返すだけです。生成が受け付けられなかった場合、クレジットは自動で払い戻されます。
• Meshy AIは写真を処理してモデルを生成し、写真と生成されたモデルを同社のプライバシーポリシーおよび保持条件に従って保持します。ポリシーは meshy.ai/privacy でご確認いただけます。スキャン前にご一読をおすすめします。
• クレジットを減算するため、写真には匿名の購入識別子が添えられます。それ以外にお客様を特定する情報は付随しません。
• 人物、ナンバープレート、その他第三者に処理されたくないものが写った写真はスキャンしないでください。車だけを撮影してください。

収集しない情報

• 位置情報・GPSデータ
• アカウント登録および個人の連絡先情報
• 広告識別子、広告表示、広告トラッキング
• アナリティクス、クラッシュレポート、利用状況の計測
• 氏名・メールアドレスその他の個人の連絡先情報（購入時を含む）

SNSへの共有について

「シェア」は現在の3Dビューを画像として撮影し、iOS標準の共有シートを開きます。何をどこへ共有するかはすべてお客様の選択であり、本アプリ自身が投稿を行ったり、SNSに接続したりすることはありません。

第三者サービス

本アプリが通信する第三者サービスは、上記の目的に限った次の2つだけです。購入検証とクレジット残高のためのRevenueCat、および（当社の中継経由での）写真から3D生成のためのMeshy AI。アナリティクス・広告・トラッキングのサービスは一切使用していません。

データの保持

当社自身はデータを保持しません。スキャンリクエストの一時的な中継以外に受け取るものがないためです。匿名の購入記録は、購入が有効な期間、RevenueCatが保持します。スキャンのために送信した写真と生成されたモデルは、Meshy AIが同社のポリシーに従って保持します。設定および読み込んだファイルは、お客様が削除するか本アプリを削除するまで端末内に残ります。

お子様のプライバシー

本アプリはお子様向けではなく、お子様の個人情報を意図的に収集することはありません。

結果の正確性について

本アプリは比較と学習のための工学シミュレーションです。認証された計測機器ではなく、実物の風洞や検証済みの商用CFDソフトウェアを置き換えるものではありません。
